Last Wednesday evening, the Support After Suicide program hosted our annual talk by grief and trauma expert, Dr Rob Gordon.

The event was hosted both in person and online with over 80 people in attendance, predominantly participants of the Support After Suicide program.  Rob spoke around the themes of guilt and responsibility, particularly in suicide bereavement.  He touched on the importance of the Support After Suicide program, through it’s specialised counsellors and facilitated support groups, in helping those bereaved by suicide to work through the complex grief and trauma of suicide loss and find a hopefulness for the future.

Dr Rob Gordon is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist and has worked with trauma and grief for over 40 years.  If you would like to view a recording of his talk, you can find it here.
