LGBTQIA+ Communities

Support After Suicide partners with Switchboard Victoria to provide a range of services for LGBTQIA+ people bereaved by suicide.

SASH (Support After Suicide Hub)

Support After Suicide has a dedicated hub and forum for LGBTQIA+ people bereaved by suicide called SASH.  Created by and for LGBTQIA+ communities, SASH has information, resources, real stories and an online community forum for LGBTQIA+ people bereaved by suicide aged 18+ to connect with each other.

You can find SASH at sash.org.au

Alongside Switchboard Victoria, we offer early bereavement groups for LGBTQIA+ people who have lost a loved one to suicide.

The groups run for 8 sessions. Sessions run on the same weeknight over eight consecutive weeks, with the same participants attending every week.
